Your depth and undertone are set against the things that actually matter: your dress, your venue’s light, and how your skin responds. Whatever works is recorded, so the wedding tan is a repeat of something proven rather than a first attempt under pressure.
Exfoliate 48 hours before the tan and again the night before. Shave 12 to 24 hours ahead, or wax 24 to 48 hours ahead. Waxing after a tan takes the color with it.
In the studio, or at the venue, the suite or your home at mobile pricing. Your first rinse happens that evening or the next morning, and the color is fully settled before the first look, so nothing is still developing on the day.
Moisturize, skip the long hot bath, and let the photographer do the rest. The formula, the depth and the timing were all decided weeks ago.
Wedding color is a plan, not a walk-in. The difference between a bride who loves her photographs and one who does not is almost never the spray itself. It is whether anyone worked backwards from the date. Here, someone does.
Why 4 weeks and 2 days
Four weeks leaves room to adjust. If the trial comes out a shade lighter than you wanted, or the undertone reads differently under your venue’s light than it did in the mirror, there is time to change it and, if needed, trial again, without it colliding with final fittings or the rehearsal dinner.
Two days is the sweet spot for the tan itself. The first rinse is done well before the day, the color has fully developed and settled, and the bronzer that transfers before the first rinse is long gone before a white dress goes anywhere near it. Both original and rapid solutions keep developing after that first rinse, which is exactly why a tan done the morning before is a gamble.

This is the part most brides do not expect to be an option. Two days before your wedding you do not go and find a studio, park, get sprayed and drive back. Seana arrives where you are already getting ready, sets up in a corner of the suite, and works through you and the party while hair and makeup carry on around her. Nobody leaves the building.
Getting-ready suites, hotels, rentals and venues are all covered, at ordinary mobile pricing, with nothing extra for it being a wedding. Inside the 10-mile radius from the Brentwood YMCA that means Franklin, Brentwood, Nolensville, Green Hills, Belle Meade, 12 South and Bellevue without a second thought. Arrington Vineyards is the one worth naming, because it is the venue brides ask about most and the honest answer needs a number. The vineyard sits about 12 miles from the Brentwood anchor point, which puts it just past the 10-mile line rather than inside it. In practice that has never been the obstacle it sounds like: a bridal party is a group, the group rate makes the trip work, and a wedding is booked weeks ahead rather than squeezed into a gap. Text the date and the headcount and you will get a straight yes or no, not a maybe.
It helps that the vineyard has a Bride’s Cottage alongside the Vineyard Lawn and the Pavilion, so a party can be sprayed on site two days out instead of anyone driving to Brentwood in the week of the wedding. The same applies at any venue with somewhere to change and a bathroom or a corner to set up in.

Your formula stays on file
Whatever worked at the trial (solution, depth, undertone, rinse timing) is recorded and used again on the day. That is the whole point of working to a method rather than improvising on the most important morning of the year.
